 Detalj innvendig

Hva vi brukte:
Aquarellark malt med ymse vannmaling og shimmermaling
Kraft og hvit Bazzill
TH dies: Winter Wonder, Rustic Lantern, Ice Skates
TH Snøflak stempler
Watermark stempelpute
Hvitt embossingpulver
Distress Paint Brushed Pewter
Skjærebrett, ATG, Panokitt, varmepistol

Tusen takk for titten, og ha en fortsatt hyggelig julehøytid:)

Through The Purple Haze #23: Here comes Christmas (Card and paperstar)

Wow, we have reached the final challenge this year over at Through The Purple Haze! Its a great team to be a part of, and with all of the amazing projects my fellow Hazelnuts creates- inspiration is never far away! But no challenge without all of you amazing crafters all over the world who join us week after week, thank you so much!

This week we are sponsored by

and they gives our winner 3 beautiful stamp sets! WOW!! They are amazing!

But one more thing!
with some amazing creations from their DT!!!

So head over to
and join us :)

So what did I make for this week? I made two things :)

First I'd like to show you my Magic Card:

I really fell in love with this rubberstamp the moment I first saw it! Say hello to: "Jolly Xmas Kitty" from Penny Blacks holiday collection back in 2008. Thank you so much "Skibban" for sending it to me <3 The Kitty is colored with Promarkers.

I distressed edges and glued panels together. I wanted the image to stand out and be the main focus, so I kept the card mostly white.

The inside is kept simple, but elegant. Stamped sentiment and diecutted it using Go Krate frames. Then stamped bells in the upper corners og the writing area. The bellstamp is from Penny Black.

Sentiment from Storyteller saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Next, my Finnish Star

This is such a beautiful paperstar, so easy to make and extremly decorative.

All you need is 12 paperstrips and glue :) I learned to make this many years ago, and I have done some mistakes on the folding here. So I found a tutorial here if you want to try, and not doing my mistakes ;)

In the center I have colored a little cute mouse from the Robins Christmas stamp set. The image is layered upon two snowflakes I die-cutted and treated with Ice Resin last year. Thats why the paper seems transparent. Very cool effect :)

This is how the star looks without extra decoration.

What I have used:

Stamps from Penny Black "Jolly Xmas Kitty", mouse from Robins Christmas stamp set, bells from Holly Jolly stamp set
Sentiment from Storyteller
White and red Bazzill
Martha Stewart borderpunch
Sizzix dies (misteltoe leaves on front of card)
Pearls from Kort & Godt
Snowflake dies

Promarker colors used:

Reds: Henna, Walnut, Firebrick, Burnt Orange
Mouse: March Hare, Umber
Shadings of white: Blue Grey 1,2,3

I would like to join following challenges with my card:

Through The Purple Haze #22 : Your favorite Christmas colors

Jumping in with Team B this week with this card. It's a one layer card made out of Kraft cardstock. I'm a bit traditional in my Christmas colors, so red and green must be present ;) And for me, there ain't no Christmas without snow :)

So sorry about the short post today, but I'm so excited!! Today me and my family will get a dog! 3 years since I had a dog, and we are soooo THRILLED!!!

Our sponsor this week is
who gives our winner a $5 coupon :)
They have some beautiful new releases now, and 20% off on $10 orders or more.

So jump over to the challenge blog and play along with us :)

I stamped the naughty snowmen and the sentiment with Memento "London Fog" and colored them in with my Prismacolor pencils (it must be a year since last time I used them so out of practice). Added some Stickles "Frosted Lace" to make the snow sparkle.

I fell in love with this image the moment I saw it, so I just had to get my hands on it. Look at the naughty faces!! Just have to love them :)

The inside is very simple, I drew some branches with green prismacolors, and heatembossed some snowflakes.

What I used:
Image from Stampendous
Sentiment from Penny Black
Snowflake stamp from Tim Holtz
Memento London Fog
White embossing powder
Kraft cardstock
Prismacolor pencils
Stickles Frosted Lace
Sakura glaze, black (for eyes and mouths)

wow, impressive list? LOL
(I totally lost control over my prismacolors used, so sorry!)

Well, head over to TTPH blog, and take a look at the other gals projects for this week, and play along :)

Thanks for looking, and have a nice day :)

To doble tagkort med kakeform-pynt

Utstyrsliste:
Emboss It Dabber (Ranger)
Frantage
Seambinding Ribbon
Selvlagde tags
Utklippsbilder fra Kort og Godt
Hjertedoily av ukjent opphav
Cheery Lynn doilies die (brukt på kaffefilter)
Blonde fra stæsj
Julestjerner fra WOC
Stickles
Distress Paint Tarnished Brass
Hvit akrylmaling på formene (ga bedre heft enn Gesso faktisk)
Gesso på tagene
Varmepistol
Issjokoladeformer

Takk for titten :)

Through The Purple Haze #21: Christmas is coming

Christmas coming up, and both my daughers have been home sick for a week. I guess they are happy returning to school and kindergarden today, I sure will be happy for that ;) For a couple of weeks ago I was the one down with the flu, so now we are all clear for Christmas huh?

Well, over to this weeks challenge over at Through The Purple Haze!
As my heading says; Christmas is coming! And this week its a new Double Team Challenge, and our fabolous sponsors are
who gives one winner 3 digi's,
and
who gives a second winner a Goody Bag!

My projects are some chocolate cards. Inside the reciever will find a 200 gram milkchocolate, no wonder these type of cards are popular :)

I was quick choosing On Vixen from Kenny K as my digi of choice, she is so gorgeous! I used Promarkers to color her in. The card measures 11" X 3" folded. Papers from Maja Design, and the embellies are 3 snowflakes with a bling.

Inside:
A little pocket with a tag (and place for a Giftcard?) and a sentiment. But most important... the chocolate :)

I made 3 cards, and colored all images at the same time. A red one, a blue and a brown. And these are my first coloring attempt on a new paper; 4CC 280g. It's SUUUUPER!!!

I have used different papers for the cards, and embellished them differently.

The red version:
Stickles "Diamond" here and there, and some glossy on the bells on her thigh. The doily is Cheery Lynn, cut from coffeefilter. Flower from Petaloo, leaves and pearlstring unknown (WOC?). Sentiment "God Jul" ("Merry Christmas" in Norwegian) from Storyteller, stamped with Aged Mahogany (Distress Ink)- and clearembossed.

The brown version:

Same doily as above, but in regular printerpaper. Pearls from Kort & Godt, ribbon from Europris. Same sentiment stamped with Walnut Stain (Distress Ink), and then clearembossed. Rolled the ends around some wooden pins. Martha Stewart edge punch. DP I think is BoBunny and Maja Design.

And the blue:
Just some Diamond Stickles as small snowflakes, referring to the sentiment on the patterned paper. Snowflake punch from Martha Stewart, bling unknown.

Colors used:
Skin: Coral, blush, Light Fawn (FM). Cheeks: Pastel Pink
Hair: Ivory, Buttercup, Sleigh Bells (LE)
Red clothes: Walnut, Henna, Firebrick (FM), Burnt Orange
Brown clothes: Walnut, Henna, Cocoa, Cinnamon
Grey/browns: March Hare (LE), Morning Mist (LE), Umber, Ice Grey 1-5

I think I have covered the most...?

Would like to join the following challenges:
